After so many requests for Q&A sessions, repeated questions about club and college swimming, and common mentoring topics, Kat is now offering seminars as a forum to learn deeper about the sport of swimming.
Are there areas in competition swimming where you think you can improve but not sure where to start- like confidence building, dealing with burnout, how to recover quickly and focus on the next race? Maybe you have some questions around navigating your club season or how to deal with moving club teams.
These seminars are designed to help guide swimmers, parents and coaches on how to properly address growing pains in the sport. The curriculum of these seminars will be structured based on requested areas of interest and delivered with knowledge gained over 15 year in the sport at the top level. Kat will share tips, hacks, and things to avoid when it comes to fast swimming.
Think of these seminars as a shortcut learning, avoiding common mistakes that are made and instead replacing them with insights that Olympic level swimmers use.
Some of the many topics that you can expect to see in upcoming seminars:
- Avoiding burnout, Taper techniques, Transitioning club teams, College recruitment, Dryland cross training, Nutrition, Harnessing confidence on race day, Time commitment, Political landscape of club team, Choosing between sports, Seasonal breaks, Gear worth investing in…& much more.
